Brookside is in a peaceful location, close to the river and 2 village pubs. As dog owners, the big field for dog walks was very useful, and local walks from the site up the hill, or along the river were very enjoyable. The pitches are spacious with planting between, and the toilet block and laundry facilities very clean and comfortable. Linda, Richard and family were very welcoming - one of the best sites we have stayed on.

We have been visiting every year since 1997 and watched the site develop into its present top class state. Richard & Linda keep the site in immaculate condition. Not every site makes you feel you should take off your shoes before entering the toilet block.

IN OUR OPINION BROOKSIDE IS ONE OF THE FINEST AROUND, RICHARD & LINDA KEEP THE PARK LOOKING SUPERB ALL THE YEAR ROUND, WE HAVE VISITED BROOKSIDE FOR 7 YEARS & WERE ALWAYS MADE VERY WELCOME. WE HAVE TRAVELED ALL AROUND EUROPE AND WE GIVE RICHARD 1st PRIZE FOR THE BEST LOO & WASTE WATER EMPTY POINT EVER, NO LIFTING HEAVY CONTAINERS JUST POUR IT ALL SWIFTLEY AWAY. FACILITIES ARE 1st CLASS. My partner & I have been coming here for 2 years & always had an excellent stay. The site is immaculate & customer service 2nd to none. Now we have the adjoining field to exercise our dogs in, we thought nothing else could make the stay more enjoyable. We were wrong!! This weekend I've arrived to find there is also a Wifi connection. 10/10 to Brookside. I really don't think they can do anymore to satisfy their customers needs. Thanks to Linda & Richard for making our weekends so perfect.

Tidiest, cleanest, quietest, friendliest site we have ever been on.
You don't have to believe us, go have a look and you won't be disapointed. It's everything everybody says and more. Can't wait to go back.

What a super site, toilets and showers exceptionally clean and the music playing is smashing, the owners are very obliging,always a smile when you arrive, the whole site is a pleasure to be on, lots to do for everybody, walking, bird watching (the feathered kind), the scenery towards the river is relaxing, spaces between the caravans are very good, if all you want to do is chill out, well worth a visit it, C & T May, Sutton on Sea.

We have visited Brookside on several occasions and look forward to returning. The site is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. As a wheelchair user I found the latest adaptation - new block paved pitch and pathway leading to the disabled toilet a absolute pleasure to use. Linda and Richard bends over backwards to make our stay comfortable. It's a very peaceful and relaxing site and look forward to returning

A very nice, clean and friendly site with a very relaxed atmosphere. Toilet blocks are the cleanest I've seen anywhere, and the piped music is lovely to sing to in the showers with plenty of hot water.
I stayed one night (cycle touring) and will hopefully use again if I'm passing by that neck of the woods.
All in all a credit to the owners. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely site, run by lovely, friendly people. I stayed there for one night with a tent (cycle touring). The facilities were very clean and well maintained.
Both the secluded setting of the campsite itself and the surrounding area are very nice. After having set up the tent I took a circular walk - through the woods and then back through the village - that was recommended by one of the owners.
I look forward to using the site again in the future.

just returned from a brillant weekend at brookside.toilets and showers immaculate,site immaculate,dog walk brilliant,there has been a lot of hard work and thought gone into this site and it truly deserves supporting.owners incredibly helpfull.WARNING though dont use tom tom to get there follow owners directions.sat nav will lead you every where and nowhere.
