What can we say that has not already been said , we agree with everything everyone has said ,never had such a friendly welcome to a site in the 35 years we have been caravaning,we could go on for ages about how good this site is but instead we will just say that we are going back at our next available weekend and are arranging for some friends to join us with there caravan,Thanks Barry & Marina

This site is up there with the best. Clean,neat & tidy with excellent shower block & one of the best disposal points we have seen. With no passing traffic and two minutes walk to a pub beside the River Trent, this is a quiet, very well run site and thoroughly deserves it's five star rating.

this is a beautiful site, clean and in beautiful surroundings.Richard and Linda welcome you as friends, we've stayed there many times, and felt at home. Lovely walks and a dog walk, peaceful with the village shops just a short walk away. See you soon.

arrived at the site 26th April 2008 to a really lovely warm welcome from Linda & found the site immaculate, the toilet/shower blocks are exceptionally clean and the site is well tended well done.The ferry inn is nice to sit outside and have a drink and watch the river, we went to the sheffield arms up the hill for our evening meal and it was really nice. It is a lovely area to go for walks and nice or peaceful to just sit and listen to the birds.Thank you for our stay. Paul & Diane

We have just visited Brookside for the 4th time staying over Xmas&New Yr
Caravaners for over 30 yrs visiting sites all over the Country this one gets full marks.From the very 1st visit the welcome we received the immaculate way the site is kept the cleanliness of the toilets&showers. A lot of thought & hard work has been put in including a barrier for security.The owners cannot do enough for you.The site very highly recommended.Very peaceful site well done Linda & Richard we will be back

Just returned from a great weekend at brookside. This is the first time we have been here and and are planning more trips here in the following year.The site has got the best shower and toilet block we have ever seen and they are allways spick and span clean.The owners made us really feel welcome and the walks around the park are fantastic great for the dogs.The pubs in the village are both freindly and both in walking distance .

We have visited this site 4 or 5 times now in the last 6 months & have enjoyed our visits immensley.The site is well worth its 5 star rating & I heartily endorse all the other comments regarding the shower /toilet blocks & the superb waste & chemical disposal point.The latest addition on our visit last weekend (23/1/09 - 25th) was a new access road which completely floored us,there was no sign of it during our last visit in September.
